You're still right on, Dale. I said it last month when the auctioneer told us all to BUY DEEP at one of my closed sales because the factory would have a shortage of cars in March. I sat there shaking my head saying some poor sap would actually believe the auctioneer. I was talking about this very topic today with some people today at the store. Shortage of cars?? Are you kidding me? My brand has more factory sales this month then they've had over the last 45 days. Instead of 11,000 units they have 10,700?? That's some shortage.

Dale,
So your saying this car sales game is harder than it looks?...I agree that there are lots of pieces to this used car puzzle, and if you don't have at least one buyer along with the correct knowledge of where to look and what to buy your leaving yourself unprotected from the market. With less retail trade-ins the supply is tighter for the right vehicle. The wrong one is always available in large quantities. We source vehicles from multiple avenues and buy and sell intelligently everyday. I currently have a couple of windows open on my pc in addition to this blog. One is a run list from an auction this week and one is a heat sheet from vAuto, gotta love technology! Thanks as always for keeping us focused.
