Being a VERY new user (have only had one training session) I may just not be using the tool correctly but here are my observations
You need another field under the Needs Attention box on the home page
Apparantly the vehicles off target may also be listed under # pending price. This duplication creates extra work.
The field could be labeled “off target/not pending price” and it would list the number of vehicles that are off target that do not have a pending price change.
I am mostly interested in the vehicles that are “off target” that I’m not waiting on a price change to take effect.
I keep going back and re-looking at cars that are actually ON target, they just haven’t made it to the web yet.
Also, I hope I can apply a different pricing matrix to Wholesale pricing (once it’s fixed, currently everything pulls to retail) as I do not want to show all my wholesales “off target” which they will be if I have to use the same default matrix for wholesale and retail
Sincerely,
Joe Kirby

Joe,
Thank you very much for the two very thoughtful questions.
First, with respect to the cars with pending prices showing “off target” you can easily identify these vehicles because their price is in orange with an “*”. If you simply click on the number next to the off target, it shows you a list of these vehicles. You need only to address those that do not have their price shaded in orange. Please let me know if this method is satisfactory and efficient for you. If not, I’m willing to consider implementing your suggested approach. I just think that there’s value in seeing a total number of vehicles off-target because I found that the pending prices often don’t get updated on the internet as quickly as users presume that they do. Keeping this issue forefront in the mind of our users is something that I thought is of value, so please consider this and let me know your thoughts.
Regarding your comment on the default price plan for wholesale vehicles, I completely agree. At the moment, I don’t have a way of having a separate default plan for retail vs. wholesale units, but I think we really should. In the meantime, I’ve asked my developers to provide a solution by removing the requirement of having a default plan at all. With this change, no vehicle will be automatically assigned to a default plan and this will allow you the flexibility of putting any vehicle on any plan that you deem to be appropriate. Keep in mind that you are able to create, delete or modify as many plans as you wish. The one’s that we have pre-set in our system are only there as convenient thought-starting models. I’ll post another response and let you know as soon as the default requirement is removed. Thanks for your suggestions and please keep them coming.
