This statement of stocking on opinion rather than fact is such a true statement. I understand that we can’t choose what we trade…however we can choose what we don’t miss trading by not fully understanding the actual retail potential of a vehicle. By taking the time to use the vAuto system and stocking tool. The first time I learned how much I didn’t know about the used vehicle market was the day I started as a wholesale buyer for a large group with multiple franchises, alot of great systems, excellent management and all the tools needed to succeed. Even with all these items you relize quick that your opinion of a car is exactly that and your selling skill is what gets the rest done. With all the advances in technology and programs like vAuto’s stocking tool you have the ability of knowing what sells and have facts instead of opinion. This is an excellent opportunity to change the game and give yourself confident competitive advantages over the competition. We are still learning how to maximize our use of vAuto, but remain excited about the posibilities.

Craig,

Thank you so much for the validation. I’ve heard about your operation from a lot of people throughout the industry and it’s a real privilege to work with you. I intend to visit your dealership and meet you during one of my next trips to the northeast. In the meantime, please stay in touch. Thanks.
Dale
